“Nothing Serious” and “Attraction” Get Special Mentions at the 49th Gdynia Film Festival

Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” received the Jury Mention and the Interia Prize “Discovery of the Festival”, and Aleksandra Szczepaniak’s “Attraction” got Special Mention for the Short Film in the Environmentally Friendly Film Production Competition at this year’s 49th edition of the Gdynia Film Festival. Both the films have had their world premiere in the Short Film Competition of the festival.

“Nothing Serious” by Kamil Czudej observes how not-that-great a party, accidentally turns into something that might change the character’s life.

“Attraction” by Aleksandra Szczepaniak features a few, sunny vacation days of the adolescent siblings.

  • Karolina Fronik’s “My Dear Bag” has been selected for the National Competition of the forthcoming 66th Krakow Film Festival to take place between May 31st – June 7th. The festival’s Polish Films Competition will feature 41 documentary, short, and animation films presenting “a wide spectrum of cinema formally courageous, attentive to reality, and open to risks” as organizers assert.
