Marta Kowalska’s “Blueberries” and Jakub Poterała’s “Penguin Habits” have been selected for the Polish Short Film Competition of the upcoming Freedom Film Festival, which will take place in Radom from 8–11 July. Both films will be screened alongside 25 other Polish productions.
Jakub Poterała’s “Penguin Habits” will be presented in the Short Film Competition of this year’s jubilee 55th edition of the Lagow Eastern and Central European Film Festival to take place between June 28th – July 5th. Karolina Fronik’s “My Dear Bag”, Marta Kowalska’s “Blueberries”, Robert Zawadzki’s “Fear”, and Filip Błaszczyk’s “The Color of Cherries” will be shown as a part of the special presentation of the Gdynia Film School’s productions in the program of this one of the oldest film events in Poland.
Karolina Fronik’s “My Dear Bag” has been awarded with the Main Prize in the International Competition of the 54th Huesca IFF held between June 5th-13th. The Oscar® and Goya qualifying festival featured short films by Oscar talent, Goya, Platino and Cesar winners alongside new voices from twenty six countries.
