Przemysław Lebiedziński -

Graduate of Akademia Marynarki Wojennej in Gdynia and Pomorska Akademia Pedagogiczna in Słupsk. Educator, creator, coach and executor of Creative Activity Workshops, artistic-sportive activities for children and young people that derive from environments endangered by pathology.

Monika Rogo -

Active participant of many art and film projects and co-organizer of cultural and sports events. Participant of 7 Pomeranian Film Workshops. She is interested in Human Resources.

Jacek Szafranowicz -

Poet, film and musical publicist. Editor  of film section in a musical quarterly “Blackastrial”, cooperates with Krytyczny Magazyn Internetowy “verte” and musical news bulletin „MusicNews.pl”.

Artur Tomczak -

Musician, actor, film director. Born in Gdynia in 1969. In 2004, he shot his first film entitled “Kolia Księżnej Romanowej” which very soon gained great popularity.

Mariusz Wirski -

Graduate of Polish philology at University of Gdańsk. Film expert and a literary critic. Currently PhD student at University of Gdańsk. Co-organizer of many cultural and film events in Tricity in 2008-2010 i.a. ”Antychryści kina” (2008), ”Wampiriada filmowa” (2009), ”To Tylko Rock” (2009) and Festiwal Kultur Świata “Globaltica” (2008-2009).

  • Olena by Elżbieta Benkowska in Cannes!

  • “Olena” by Elżbieta Benkowska, a director recently graduated from The Gdynia Film School, will be competing for this year’s Golden Palm of the 66th Cannes Film Festival in the category of short films. This year, there were 3 500 entries from 132 countries in this category. 

  • 9. Gdańsk DocFilm Festival

  • 35 films from all over the world will be competing to win Brama Wolności Award during the 9. edition of Gdańsk DocFilm Festival [Godność i Praca/ Dignity&Work] which will take place from 4th till 8th May 2011. The Gdynia Film School is a partner of the festival.

  • Beautiful Twenty-Year-Olds

  • Today is the last day to submit films for the Beautiful Twenty-Year-Olds Festival of Young Cinema which will be held from 14 to 16 April. The films can be submitted by the secondary school and university students. The jury will be composed of the two lecturers from the Gdynia Film School: Paweł Łoziński and Rafał Listopad.
