“Attraction” and “Nothing Serious” in Competition of the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival in Poland

Aleksandra Szczepaniak’s “Attraction” and Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” will be presented in the International Short Film Competition of the forthcoming Two Riversides Film and Art Festival to take place in Kazimierz and Janowiec, Poland, between July 26th – August 3rd. The GSF’s films will be shown among 28 international short films.

“Attraction” by Aleksandra Szczepaniak focuses on a few, sunny vacation days of the adolescent siblings. Earlier, the film got the Jury Mention at the 49th Gdynia FF in Poland, and the Honorary Mention in the NY Cinematography Awards.

“Nothing Serious” by Kamil Czudej, which also got the Jury Special Mentions at the 49th Gdynia FF 2024 and in the Blaue Blume TV competition 2025, observes how not-that-great a party, accidentally turns into something that might change the character’s life.

  • Lulu Pomorova’s “Olga” will take part in the Youth Perspective Competition of documentary films at the forthcoming Spektrum FF to take place in Polish Świdnica and Czechia Trutnov between October 21st – 26th. Spektrum FF will present 49 internationally made films by young directors in three competitive sections for fiction, documentary, and animation.

  • Marcin Niemkiewicz’s “love_proxy”, Piotr Pluta’s “Such a Perfect Day”, and Diana Szczotka’s “Haven” will be a part of the short film program of the Waterfront Indie Film Festival, held in the center of Bollywood between October 2nd-6th. Organized by the renown Acting School of the Rangshila Theater Group and the Indian film critics, the festival will present the international independent feature, short, documentary, and experimental films.
