“Attraction” Awarded for the Best Cinematography at the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival in Poland

Aleksandra Szczepaniak’s “Attraction” got Agatka Modrzejewska’s Award for the Best Cinematography in the International Short Film Competition of the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival, which took place in Kazimierz and Janowiec, Poland, between July 26th – August 3rd. The cinematographer – Ms Zuzanna Kernbach – was awarded by the Jury for “creating visual language equivalent to paradoxes of love: precise and wavering, airy and stuffy, sentimental and penetrating.”

“Attraction” Awarded for the Best Cinematography at the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival in Poland

“Attraction” by Aleksandra Szczepaniak focuses on a few, sunny vacation days of the adolescent siblings. The film was earlier awarded with the Jury Mention at the 49th Gdynia FF in Poland, and the Honorary Mention in the NY Cinematography Awards competition 2025.
