“Attraction” in Competition of the 26th Trieste ShorTS IFF

Aleksandra Szczepaniak’s “Attraction” was a part of the Maremetraggio Competition of the forthcoming 26th Trieste ShorTS IFF to took place between June 28th – July 5th. “Attraction” will be presented among 40 international titles, produced in Argentina, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czechia, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Lativa, Lithuania, Myanmar, Norway, Qatar, Pakistan, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam, UK, and USA.

“Attraction” in Competition of the 26th Trieste ShorTS IFF

Awarded earlier with the Honorable Distinctions in the New York Cinematography Awards Competition and the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, the “Attraction” by Aleksandra Szczepaniak focuses on a few, sunny vacation days of the adolescent siblings.

  • Mikołaj Janik’s “Mom Is Going Back” got two awards at the 23rd Uhvati Film Festival: Grand Prix at the Novi Sad edition, and Second Prize for Documentary Film in Rijeka, Croatia. Organized in the region of Southern Europe (Novi Sad in Serbia, Rijeka in Croatia, and Kotor in Montenegro) in October and November, the festival features fiction and documentary films presenting themes of disability.
