Shown earlier at festivals in Gdynia, Krakow, Przemysl, Valencia, and Torino, Hanna Kilińska’s diploma film “Don’t Talk To Me Like That” presents a complex relationship of musically talented siblings preparing for a concert that is supposed to change their lives.

Awarded earlier in Czechia, Krakow (Poland), India, and nominated in Sri Lanka recently, ”Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko features a portrait of a family dealing with the death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help her parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

Premiered at the Camerimage IFF 2022, and awarded at the Kautik IFF in India, ”Sabina” – the diploma film of Diana Zamojska – features a meeting of 50-year-old Sabina and a young blue-haired girl full of life and troubles. The encounter brings about unexpected consequences for both of them.

Premiered in competition of the Two Riverside Festival 2022, Bartosz Izdebski’s ”Jaffa Cakes” focuses on few last moments spent together by three childhood friends, just before embarking on a long-time journey. Remembrances of a fairy-like, idyllic past mingle with expectations and dreams of a new, different world out there – what will prevail?

Documentary film by Paweł Wyszomirski “House of Sand” is a bittersweet documentary comedy. A father and a son build an experimental house on the edge of the world. Turns out it’s a journey which takes them to places they only dreamed of.
