Awarded earlier at the prestigious film festivals in Poland (the Best Cinematography Prize in Koszalin and the Audience Prize in Sopot), and presented, among others, in Budapest, Busan, NY, Oslo, and Rome, “The Mandala” in a thriller convention tells a story of a mother and son struggling with a loss.

Nominated last year for the Grand OFF Prize for the Best Polish Short Film, and shown at film festivals in Poland, as well as in Canada, Germany, South Korea, Spain, and the US, the “Saudade” by Wojciech Pokorski in a sensitive and detailed way captures psychology of a child in confrontation with grave illness of the mother.
