“Nothing Serious” and “Such a Perfect Day” in Short Film Competition of the 54th Lagow Eastern and Central European FF

Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” and Piotr Pluta’s “Such a Perfect Day” will be presented in the Short Film Competition of this year’s 54th edition of the Lagow Eastern and Central European Film Festival to take place between June 29th – July 6th. “Nothing Serious” and “Such a Perfect Day” will be among 20 best Polish short films shown at this one of the oldest film events in Poland.

“Nothing Serious” by Kamil Czudej, which earlier got the Jury Special Mentions at the 49th Gdynia FF 2024 and in the Blaue Blume TV competition 2025 as well as the Best Film Prize at the Czechia’s 51st Mlada Kamera FF, observes how not-that-great a party, accidentally turns into something that might change the character’s life.

Shown earlier at the prestigious festivals in Gdynia and Łódź – at the Camera Action FF, “Such a Perfect Day” by Piotr Pluta features far reaching psychological and social consequences of a hazard addiction.
