“Nothing Serious” Awarded Grand Prix of the 17th Solanin Film Festival in Poland

Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.

“Nothing Serious” by Kamil Czudej, which earlier got the Jury Special Mentions at the 49th Gdynia FF 2024 and in the Blaue Blume TV competition 2025, as well as the Best Film Prize at the 51st Mlada Kamera FF in Czechia, observes how not-that-great a party, accidentally turns into something that might change the character’s life.
