”Resurrection” in the Program of the Toronto Polish Film Festival

“Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko will be a part of the Short Films Program of the forthcoming Toronto Polish Film Festival to take place between November 16th – 19th. “Resurrection” will be one of the seven Polish short film selected to the festival’s program.

Awarded recently at the prestigious 44th Manaki Brothers FF in Macedonia, and earlier in Czechia, India, Portugal, and the US, the ”Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko sketches a portrait of a family dealing with the death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help their parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

  • “Nothing Serious” Awarded Grand Prix of the 17th Solanin Film Festival in Poland

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.
