Jury recognized the film for “an outstanding original idea, capturing viewers’ emotions, fantastic cast and perfect visual form.” The Krakow prizes are the next after the Best Cinematography Prize in Opava, Czechia and the Audience Prize at the CK OFF Fest in Przemysl, Poland the film got earlier this month.

The Nano Film Festival in Krakow presented three Gdynia Film School films in competition this year: “Resurrection”, “Don’t Talk To Me Like That”, and “InstaLove” among 30 other short films from Poland and abroad. The festival took place between Oct. 21st – 23rd.

Luiza Budejko’s ”Resurrection” features a portrait of a family dealing with a death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

Hanna Kilińska’s “Don’t Talk To Me Like That” presents a complexity of a musically talented sibling relationship taking unexpected turn while they are just about to give concert that is supposed to change their lives.

Marcin Niemkiewicz’s “InstaLove” shows today’s love relationship, in which Instagram plays an equal, if not more important, a role as romantic partners do.
