Penguin Habits in Competition at the Tehran International Short Film Festival
Jakub Poterała’s Penguin Habits will compete for an award at the prestigious Tehran International Short Film Festival. We are proud to be among an exceptional selection of films from around the world. It is a great honour for us!
Previously screened with success in, among other places, Gdynia, Beijing, Huesca and Riyadh, Jakub Poterała’s Penguin Habits follows the day when the mother of young Antek is leaving for a research station, while he must remain in Poland in the care of his grandfather. The film explores a conflict between love and responsibility for a child on the one hand, and ambition and professional opportunities on the other.
Thirty-three fiction short films have been selected for the International Competition of the 43rd Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF). This year’s selection brings together filmmakers from 30 countries across six continents, highlighting the festival’s truly international scope and diversity. We are deeply honoured to be part of it.
