“Resurrection” Wins Best Cinematography Prize at the 44th Manaki Brothers FF in Macedonia!

Dawid Bajerski – a cinematographer of the “Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko has been awarded with the Best Cinematography Prize in the Student Films competition of the 44th edition of the International Cinematographers’ Film Festival Manki Brothers in Bitola, Macedonia. The event took place between September 23rd – 29th, and in the Student Films competition presented 18 short films from around the world. This is the next Best Cinematography Prize for the film that earlier won also the Czech Cinematographers Prize and the Best Cinematography Award in the International Student Film Awards competition in India.

Widely presented and awarded around the world, ”Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko features a portrait of a family dealing with the death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help her parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

  • “Nothing Serious” Awarded Grand Prix of the 17th Solanin Film Festival in Poland

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.
