Already widely awarded around the world, most recently in Italy, Poland, and Canada, the ”Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko sketches a portrait of a family dealing with the death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help their parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

Presented in the NY New Filmmakers Program, Aneta Bussold’s “Summer 43” is based on facts a history of women lots behind the front lines of the WW2 in a remote village under German occupation in 1943.
