”Transgression” and “The Mandala” in Student Films Competition of the 70th OKFA in Konin, Poland

Diana Szczotka ‘s ”Transgression” and Mikołaj Janik’s “The Mandala” will be shown in the Student Films Competition of the forthcoming 70th edition of the OKFA – Polish Independent Film Competition to take place in Konin between May 30th – June 2nd. The festival will present the recent independent Polish feature, short, documentary and animation films in three competition programs.

”Transgression” by Diana Szczotka is a dance club love story, which unexpectedly brings in a confrontation of one’s deepest convictions with overwhelming desires.

“The Mandala” by Mikołaj Janik in a thriller convention tells a story of a mother and son struggling with a loss.

  • “Olga” Among the Winners of the Spektrum Film Festival

  • Lulu Pomorova’s “Olga” got the Documentary Prize “Kinematografek”at the 11th Spektrum FF, which took place in Polish Świdnica and Czechia Trutnov between October 21st – 26th. Spektrum FF featured 49 internationally made films by young directors in three competitive sections for fiction, documentary, and animation.
