“love_proxy” in Competition of the Ravenheart Fantastic Film Festival in Oslo

Marcin Niemkiewicz’s “love_proxy” will be a part of the short films competition of the Ravenheart Fantastic Film Festival held in Oslo between June 11th – 15th. The festival features sci-fi, fantasy, horror, dark comedy, and animation films from around the world.

Awarded in the Blaue Blume TV Competition 2025, and presented earlier this year in Miami, Brussels , and Lyon, “love_proxy” – Marcin Niemkiewicz’s short fiction diploma film– with use of animation and live-action shows a love story in a world, in which a man, thanks to the brand-new invention of a robot doppelganger, can function in many different places at the same time.

  • ”Señorita” – a short etude by Sebastian Szewczykowski – was presented in competition of the Seattle Sisters Cities Short Film Festival to take place on May 4th. Founded in 1956 by the US President Dwight D.   • ”InstaLove” to Open 12th EU Short Film Festival in Ottawa!

  • Marcin Niemkiewicz’s ”InstaLove” will open the forthcoming 12th edition of the Ottawa EU Short Film Festival to take place between May 2nd-3rd. The twenty three festival short films will be later shown across Canada, including Montreal in late May.
