“Transgression” Gets the Best LGBTQ Film Prize at the Cambridge International Short Film Festival 2025

Diana Szczotka’s “Transgression” won the Best LGBTQ Film Prize at the Cambridge International Short Film Festival 2025. The festival’s Prize winners have been announced during special event organized in the Cambridge Junction on July 13th.

Awarded earlier at the Porto Femme FF and the Seoul ISFF, and shown at numerous festivals in Poland, as well as in Finland, Canada and Spain – the ”Transgression” by Diana Szczotka – is a dance club love story, which unexpectedly brings in a confrontation of one’s deepest convictions with overwhelming desires.

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.
