“Olga” and “Fear” in the Program of the 19th Zubroffka Short Film Festival in Białystok, Poland
Lulu Pomorova’s “Olga” will be presented in the Documentary Films Competition, while Robert Zawadzki’s “Fear” – as a part of Special Presentations of the forthcoming 19th Zubroffka International Short Film Festival to take place in Białystok, Poland. Held between December 3rd – 7th, the festival will feature short films from around the world in 10 various competitive sections.
Awarded recently at the Spektrum FF, and earlier shown at the number of influential film festivals documentary debut film of the director of “Everything for My Friend” – Lulu Pomorova – “Olga” focuses on struggles for working rights of the sexual workers in Poland.
Awarded at the 50th Gdynia Polish FF, and earlier presented in the Short Film Competition of the 65th Krakow Film Festival, the “Fear” by Robert Zawadzki explores the themes of humanity and moral conflict amidst a humanitarian crisis at the Polish-Belarusian border.
