Marta Kowalska’s graduation film “Blueberries” follows an idyllic family situation that unexpectedly turns into a horror story, forcing the protagonist to choose between love and comfort on the one hand, and decency and ethical principles on the other.

Jakub Poterała’s “Penguin Habits” focuses on the day when the mother of young Antek departs for a research station abroad, leaving him in the care of his grandfather. The film explores the conflict between love and responsibility for a child and the pursuit of professional ambition and career opportunities.
