Marcin Niemkiewicz’s “love_proxy” has been awarded with the Best Extended Short Film Prize in the San Francisco Science Fiction Short & TV Awards Competition. The live screening event will take place in San Francisco on September 15th.
Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.
Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious”, Piotr Pluta’s “Such a Perfect Day”, and Diana Szczotka’s “Haven” will be presented at the forthcoming Busan Inter-City Film Festival. Organized by the Busan Independent Film Association festival will take place between August 28th – 31st, and will show only 15 selected independent short films from Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Poland, and Spain.
