Eryk Lenartowicz

He was raised in Sydney, Australia, and came to Poland to graduate from Polish junior high school and high school. For one year he learned photography under the supervision of Tomasz Adamowicz. He also took part in a photography workshop conducted by Tomasz Sikora.

For many years he was a member of the English-speaking Kropka Theatre, where – apart from acting – he dealt in technical service of stage design, lighting and acoustics of the spectacles presented in Australia, France and Poland. He was also a lighting assistant while shooting the film „Epilogue” directed by Adam Białek from the Warsaw Film School. His favourite artists are e.g. Jim Jarmusch, Joel Coen, Ethan Coen, Gus Van Sant, Milos Forman and Wojciech Has.

  • “Nothing Serious” Awarded Grand Prix of the 17th Solanin Film Festival in Poland

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.
