European Premiere of “love_proxy” in Brussels

“love_proxy” by Marcin Niemkiewicz will have its European premiere in competition of the forthcoming 43rd Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival to take place between April 8th-20th. This year, the festival will feature over 50 sci-fi films from around the world in four competitive sections; “love_proxy” will be a part of the “They’re the Future” student film program.

Awarded recently in the Blaue Blume TV Competition, “love_proxy” – Marcin Niemkiewicz’s short fiction diploma film– with use of animation and live-action shows a love story in a world, in which a man, thanks to the brand-new invention of a robot doppelganger, can function in many different places at the same time.

  • “Attraction” Awarded for the Best Cinematography at the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival in Poland

  • Aleksandra Szczepaniak’s “Attraction” got Agatka Modrzejewska’s Award for the Best Cinematography in the International Short Film Competition of the Two Riversides Film and Art Festival, which took place in Kazimierz and Janowiec, Poland, between July 26th – August 3rd. The cinematographer – Ms Zuzanna Kernbach – was awarded by the Jury for “creating visual language equivalent to paradoxes of love: precise and wavering, airy and stuffy, sentimental and penetrating.”
