”In Heaven and on Earth” in Short Film Competition of the 39th Cinema Jove FF in Spain

Yulia Yukhymets‘ ”In Heaven and on Earth” will be presented in the Short Film Competition of the forthcoming 39th Cinema Jove FF in Valencia. The FIAPF accredited festival that features films made by young directors from around the world will take place between June 20th – 26th.

”In Heaven and on Earth” in Short Film Competition of the 39th Cinema Jove FF in Spain

Awarded with the Best Film Prize at the Cine Nova FF in Lisbon and recently with the Best B&W Film in the Bratislava International Film Awards competition, ”In Heaven and on Earth” is an experimental short featuring 11-year-old Tosia and her 6-year-old brother Kajtek trying to cope with the family’s tragedy.

  • Karolina Fronik’s “My Dear Bag” has been selected for the National Competition of the forthcoming 66th Krakow Film Festival to take place between May 31st – June 7th. The festival’s Polish Films Competition will feature 41 documentary, short, and animation films presenting “a wide spectrum of cinema formally courageous, attentive to reality, and open to risks” as organizers assert.
