„love_proxy” in Competition of the Miami Science Fiction Film Festival 2025!

„love_proxy” by Marcin Niemkiewicz will have its premiere presentation in competition of the forthcoming 13th MiSciFi – Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival to take place between January 17th-19th. This year, the festival will feature sci-fi films from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Estonia, France, Germany, Ghana, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, UK, and the US.

„love_proxy” – Marcin Niemkiewicz’s short fiction diploma film– with a use of animation and live-action shows a love story in a world, in which a man, thanks to the brand-new invention of a robot doppelganger, can function in many different places at the same time.

MiFiSci – Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival is one of the premier science fiction film festivals in the world. Organized in collaboration with the NASA Space Center Florida, the festival features sci-fi films along with the filmmakers workshops on augmented intelligence, NASA Presentation Panel, or the Panel on the Science Behind Science Fiction among others. This year’s Award Ceremony will take place on January 19th.

  • “Nothing Serious” in Competition of the 28th Zoom Int’l Film Festival

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” will be a part of the Competition program of the forthcoming 28th Zoom International Film Festival to take place in Jelenia Góra in Poland between March 3rd-9th. The film, which earlier got the Jury Mention and the Interia Prize “Discovery of the Festival” at the 49th Gdynia FF, and – recently – the Special Jury Mention for the Main Role for Mateusz Więcławek in the Blaue Blume TV Competition 2025, will be one of the 47 international short film productions shown at this year’s edition of the festival in Jelenia Góra.

  • “Attraction” Gets Honorable Mention in the New York Cinematography Awards Competition

  • Aleksandra Szczepaniak’s “Attraction” got Honorable Mention in the Student Film category of the New York Cinematography Awards competition that presented over 100 feature and short films from around the world, among others from Australia, Canada, China, Columbia, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Portugal, RPA, Switzerland, South Korea, Tunisia, Turkey, UK, USA, etc.
