“Mom Is Coming Back” in Competition of the iRoDi Film Festival in Thessaloniki!

Mikołaj Janik’s ”Mom Is Coming Back” will take part in competition of this year’s iRoDi International Film Festival in Thessaloniki in Greece to take place between December 3rd – 10th. “Mom Is Coming Back” will be one of the nine films from around the world, shown in the festival’s competition program.

Mikołaj Janik’s diploma film presents an intimate portrait of Weronika and her daughter, diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Weronika, who used to bake sausages over an Icelandic volcano, kayaked through Costa Rican rivers, and guided tourists around the ruins of ancient kingdoms, now leads a very different life, in which she is telling her daughter stories about the world around them.

  • “Nothing Serious” Awarded Grand Prix of the 17th Solanin Film Festival in Poland

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.
