“Nothing Serious” and “Such a Perfect Day” in Competition of the 18th Amarcort Film Festival in Italy!

“Nothing Serious” by Kamil Czudej and “Such a Perfect Day” by Piotr Pluta will be presented in various competitive sections of the forthcoming 18th Amarcort Film Festival in Rimini, Federico Fellini’s birthplace. The festival held between November 25th – 30th, will show “Nothing Serious” in the Student Films category, while “Such a Perfect Day” – in the Titta category dedicated to films on parent-child relationship.

Awarded earlier in Poland, Czechia, and Germany, and shown in South Korea and the US, “Nothing Serious” by Kamil Czudej, observes how not-that-great a party, accidentally turns into something that might change the character’s life.

Shown at the prestigious Polish festivals in Gdynia, Łódź, Łagów, and Sopot, as well as in Busan and Mumbai, “Such a Perfect Day” by Piotr Pluta presents far reaching psychological and social consequences of a hazard addiction.

The festival’s Polish Films Competition will feature 41 documentary, short, and animation films presenting “a wide spectrum of cinema formally courageous, attentive to reality, and open to risks” as organizers assert.
