“Resurrection” in Competition of the 24th Festival Corti da Sogni Antonio Ricci in Ravenna!

The forthcoming Festival Corti da Sogni Antonio Ricci in Ravenna, taking place between April 18th-22nd will present Luiza Budejko’s “Resurrection” in competition of the Film School films. “Resurrection” will be one of the eight European films shown in the competition, along with the films from Belgium, France, Germany and Italy.

Currently shown within the NY New Filmmakers Program and nominated for the International Student Film Prize of the Parul University in India, ”Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko sketches a portrait of a family dealing with the death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help their parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

  • Mikołaj Janik’s “Mom Is Going Back” got two awards at the 23rd Uhvati Film Festival: Grand Prix at the Novi Sad edition, and Second Prize for Documentary Film in Rijeka, Croatia.   • “Nothing Serious” by Kamil Czudej and “Such a Perfect Day” by Piotr Pluta will be presented in various competitive sections of the forthcoming 18th Amarcort Film Festival in Rimini, Federico Fellini’s birthplace. The festival held between November 25th – 30th, will show “Nothing Serious” in the Student Films category, while “Such a Perfect Day” – in the Titta category dedicated to films on parent-child relationship.
