“Resurrection” in Competition of the Freedom Film Festival in Radom, Poland

Luiza Budejko’s diploma film “Resurrection” will be presented in the Polish Short Film Competition of the forthcoming Freedom Film Festival to take place in Radom, Poland, between July 2nd – 8th. “Resurrection” will be one of the twenty shorts presented in the competition.

Currently shown also in Tel Aviv, ”Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko features a portrait of a family dealing with the death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help her parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

  • “Nothing Serious” Awarded Grand Prix of the 17th Solanin Film Festival in Poland

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” got Grand Prix and the Youth Jury Prize of the 17th Solanin Film Festival held in Nowa Sól, Poland, between August 20th – 24th. The Jury awarded the film for: “a good, true story, perfect acting, and deep emotions expressed in extraordinary language. The astute title suggests serious topic, and realization was made in a spirit of the best traditions of the Polish Film School”.
