“Saudade” Nominated for the Grand OFF Prize in Warsaw!

“Saudade” by Wojciech Pokorski has been Nominated for the Grand OFF Prize in the Best Polish Film category. The 18th edition of the Grand OFF competition featuring the world’s best short independent films will take place during the Grand OFF Film Festival in Warsaw between December 2nd – 9th. The Prize winners in eleven various categories will be announced at the Gala celebration on December 7th.

Presented earlier at the Polish film festivals like Wegiel FF and WAMA, as well as in Germany, South Korea, Spain, and the US, the “Saudade” by Wojciech Pokorski in a sensitive and detailed way captures psychology of a child in confrontation with grave illness of the mother.

  • “Transgression” Among the Winners of the Seoul International Short Film Festival

  • Diana Szczotka’s “Transgression” won the Best LGBT Film Prize at the Seoul International Short Film Festival 2024 that took place between October 19th – 30th. Seoul ISFF presented over 100 short films from around the world, including four other GSF’s productions: Mikołaj Janik’s “The Mandala”, Yulia Yukhymets‘ ”In Heaven and on Earth”, Diana Szczotka’s “Haven”, and Lulu Pomorova’s “Everything for My Friend”.

  • Special Presentation of the Gdynia Film School’s films in Seattle

  • “Saudade”, “Tacking”, “The Mandala”, “Transgression”, and “Mom Is Going Back” will be featured at the special presentation of the short films from the Gdynia Film School the forthcoming 32nd Seattle Polish Film Festival held between November 8th – 10th. The screenings will take place at the Egyptian theater.
