“Saudade” to be Presented at the EKRAN – Toronto Polish Film Festival

“Saudade” by Wojciech Pokorski will be presented in the Short Film program of the forthcoming EKRAN – Toronto Polish Film Festival to take place between November 14th – 24th. The festival’s screenings of the recent Polish feature, documentary, and short films will be held at the Toronto’s Revue Cinema, Innis Town Hall, and Maja Prentice Theatre.

Presented earlier at the Polish film festivals like Wegiel FF and WAMA, as well as in Germany, South Korea, Spain, and the US, the “Saudade” by Wojciech Pokorski in a sensitive and detailed way captures psychology of a child in confrontation with grave illness of the mother.

  • “Nothing Serious” in Competition of the 28th Zoom Int’l Film Festival

  • Kamil Czudej’s “Nothing Serious” will be a part of the Competition program of the forthcoming 28th Zoom International Film Festival to take place in Jelenia Góra in Poland between March 3rd-9th. The film, which earlier got the Jury Mention and the Interia Prize “Discovery of the Festival” at the 49th Gdynia FF, and – recently – the Special Jury Mention for the Main Role for Mateusz Więcławek in the Blaue Blume TV Competition 2025, will be one of the 47 international short film productions shown at this year’s edition of the festival in Jelenia Góra.

  • “Attraction” Gets Honorable Mention in the New York Cinematography Awards Competition

  • Aleksandra Szczepaniak’s “Attraction” got Honorable Mention in the Student Film category of the New York Cinematography Awards competition that presented over 100 feature and short films from around the world, among others from Australia, Canada, China, Columbia, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Portugal, RPA, Switzerland, South Korea, Tunisia, Turkey, UK, USA, etc.
