“Resurrection” Gets the Best Student Film Prize at the 16th Amarcort Film Festival in Italy!

“Resurrection” by Luiza Budejko has been awarded with the Best Student Film Prize in the Aldina Competition of the 16th edition of the Amarcort Film Festival in Rimini, Federico Fellini’s birthplace. The festival took place between November 14th – 19th, and in the Student Films category presented films from around the world, among others: Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Israel, Iran, Spain, Switzerland, and USA.

“Resurrection” Gets the Best Student Film Prize at the 16th Amarcort Film Festival in Italy!

This is the next main prize for the “Resurrection,” which has been earlier awarded in Czechia, India, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, and the US. The film – a diploma film of Luiza Budejko – sketches a portrait of a family dealing with the death of small Marcel. 10-year-old Magda, Marcel’s sister, feels a need to help their parents overcome the tragedy and to do something that will let them all return to their life as it was before.

  • “Olga” Among the Winners of the Spektrum Film Festival

  • Lulu Pomorova’s “Olga” got the Documentary Prize “Kinematografek”at the 11th Spektrum FF, which took place in Polish Świdnica and Czechia Trutnov between October 21st – 26th. Spektrum FF featured 49 internationally made films by young directors in three competitive sections for fiction, documentary, and animation.
